The Entry Standard for equities and corporate bonds is history. The future belongs to “Scale,” the new stock exchange segment for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which was launched on March 1, 2017 with 46 stocks and corporate bonds.

The EQS Group has also moved to the Scale segment. The new segment is intended to give companies easier access to investors and growth capital and is more strictly regulated than the Entry Standard where EQS Group had been listed up to now.

André Marques, Head of Finance and Investor Relations: “Because Scale demands certain minimum information requirements and standards of companies, it increases both transparency and investors ability to assess companies.” EQS Group, as the market leader for the fulfillment of reporting obligations for stock-listed companies, saw it as a natural step to apply for admission to the new quality segment.

André spoke in December 2016 with 4investors about the reasons for the change and why EQS welcomes the “Scale” segment. Read the whole interview in german here.
